happy anniversary Paper Street Teas!

Happy 1 year anniversary to Paper Street Teas! It was 1 year ago today when Paul and I officially unveiled the then named Teanas website. It was a proud moment celebrated with Guinness and some gourmet cheeses. Once we got our first order we were ecstatic! Oh my, how much has changed since then. The one thing that hasn't changed is the amount of work we put in.

Here's to another great and successful year!

getting ready for the holidays

The holidays are coming up on us really quickly. It's only a couple of months away. So we have been getting ready by creating our packages again. We also have some new products in the pipeline such as canisters, a great new jumbo mug that holds 24 oz of tea! as well as some new black teas and a line of white teas.

We are really gearing up here. We have been tasting a lot of teas for the holidays so hopefully we will have some special holiday blend.

The holiday season as fun as it is, there is a lot of work ahead for us to get ready. We definitely won't be making the same mistake as last year, where we ran out of inventory for some of our best selling products and then those ended up being on back order until February. Hopefully that won't happen this year. We'll see how it goes.
We'll see how it goes during this holiday season. If our current forecast holds then we will be in for a great ride!

Marketing partners

After some time of discussing possible marketing partners, we have finally worked it out. We will be doing some co-marketing with a company called Clip-n-Seal that makes these really great seals for chips, cereals, and of course...tea!

We use their products here at the office to not only keep our teas fresh but also our snack in our break room, and we feel that our customers will also enjoy them. These work much better than regular chip clips as they create a seal throughout the entire length of the bag so there is guaranteeed freshness.

We will starting this campaign as soon as we get the card inserts and skinny mini's from them. In return they will be offering their customers a special gft certificate for our tea.

We all hope this benefits both of our companies.

mini iPod contest

To generate some more interest as well as reward our customers we have begun a mini iPod give a way for each month until the end of december. Hopefully this will generate some more sales. If anything this will defintiely be a good way for someone to get a mini iPod.

We have two ways to enter. Earn points at www.psteas.com or by making posts at www.teavilla.com. It's pretty easy to enter. Every point and post equals an entry so the more points and posts you create the better your chances of winning the iPod.

Good Luck everyone!
